The OC Fair, themed "One Big Party" in 2015, is celebrating it's 125th anniversary and fans can join the 23-day-long party at a fantastic discounted price by purchasing a 2015 OC Fair Super Pass before prices increase.

Disney's California Adventure: Pixar Parade

Annual passes to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure are awesome! There is no doubt about that! My husband and I take advantage of ours on a regular basis. Its even more awesome when you get to spend it with your friends who also have passes! About a week ago, I watched our friends' one yr. old daughter while my hubs and her mom went on California Screamin'! In the mean time we caught the Pixar Parade! Here's what we saw! 

Its a good thing you are on this side of the lens! There was water spraying everywhere! It was a blast! Even with a sleepy and tired one year old!

A few months ago my hubs and i stumbled upon a new restaurant in one of our favorite shopping centers, the Irvine Spectrum. It was called (and still is called) Pieology. We love it and think its quite the deal even if you each get your own pizza! 

Here's my normal order from last few months: 

Basically, this place is like Chipotle for pizza! You walk up to the counter, possibly after waiting in line for (usually about) 15 minutes at least and tell them what you want on your pizza! The crust is always thin to allow them to cook the pizza's quickly and there is a wealth of toppings to choose from. I like to start with one of their creations and then add things i like. Like on the one shown above I added all the cheeses and black olives with some chicken as well! Yum!

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Date Night!

Who needs grown up date nights when you can have kid-like one's?!

The hubs and I had the opportunity to see Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus' new show, Built to Amaze on opening night and man oh man was it lots of fun.

And let me tell you, the circus wasn't always my favorite place to be. *cough* clowns can be creepy as hell *cough*

Game On: 2013 San Diego County Fair

The 2013 San Diego Fair is hosted in the beautiful city of Del Mar, CA and currently open until Thursday, July 4.

This year you can expect some amazing talent and tons of fun at the San Diego County Fair! With over 22 musical performances (Joan Jett will be in concert on closing night!), carnival rides, games, delicious food, various vendors and more, I don't know how anyone in the area would want to miss it.

You may have noticed by their cool logo that this years theme is "Game On", which the site describes as "spotlighting classic and nostalgic games and shows how these have evolved over the years; from board games and pinball, to television, videos and computers."

Tickets ($14 adults; $8 kids ages 6-12) and general information can be found on the fair's website. If you're a military family, dont forget to take advantage of their military discount and for the rest of you, visit your local Albertson and Save-on for coupons.

FYI:
The fair's closed on Mondays, except for 7/2.

Fabulous So-Cal Drive In Theaters

There aren't too many of them out there but I yes, they do still exists.

With summer right around the corner and the beautiful evening weather already here, it's a real shame to spend your time indoors.

My favorite thing to do when we're strapped for cash but still want to catch the latest flick is head to the local drive-in. Two movies for $7, you can beat it. Even when we used to live in OC, the hubs and I would endure the 45 minute - 1 hour drive to Riverside just for our drive-in date nights. I tell ya, it's totally worth it!

So next time you're bored at home and need something to do for the evening, grab the lawn chairs, a light blanket, a bunch of junk food (and/or Little Caesars $5 pizza) and head to the nearest one near you. And, if you can't find a sitter for the kiddos, no problem, let them tag along and experience the outdoor movie fun.
